First the good news
ドイツで 行われた 女子サッカー ワールドカップで 日本が 優勝しました。
ドイツで おこなわれた じょしサッカー ワールドカップで にほんが ゆうしょうしました。
At the Woman's World Cup Soccer games that took place in Germany, Japan won the championship.
決勝戦は 米国 対 日本。
けっしょうせんは べいこく たい にひん。
けっしょうせんは べいこく たい にひん。
For the finals it was America vs. Japan.
ＰＫ戦の 結果、日本が 米国に 勝って、優勝しました。
PKせんの けっか、 にほんが べいこくに かって、ゆうしょうしました。
Due to the result of the penalty-kick shootout, Japan beat America and won the championship.
だれも 日本が 勝つ ことを 予想して いませんでした。
だれも にほんが かつ ことを よそうして いませんでした。
No one expected that Japan would win.
びっくりですね。
びっくりですね。
It was a surprise, wasn't it.
次は 暗い ニュースです。
つぎは くらい ニュースです。
Next, the bad news.
先週 放射能に 汚染された 牛肉が 市場に 流通している ことが 分かりました。
せんしゅう ほうしゃのうに おせんされた ぎゅうにくが しじょうに りゅうつうしている ことが わかりました。
Last week we learned that beef contaminated with radiation was circulated through the market.
福島県産の 牛肉です。
ふくしまけんさんの ぎゅうにくです。
The beef was a product of Fukushima prefecture.
餌の ワラが 放射能に 汚染されて いました。
えさの ワラが ほうしゃのうに おせんされて いました。
The straw feed was contaminated with radiation.
国は この 牛肉の 流通を 停止しましたが、一部は 既に 販売されました。
くには この ぎゅうにくの りゅうつうを ていししましたが、 いちぶは すでに はんばいされました。
The circulation of the beef was stopped but, in one part of the country it had already been sold.
福島県は 全ての 牛を 検査すると 発表しました。
ふくしまけんは すべての うしを けんさすると はっぴょうしました。
The Fukushima prefecture announced the inspection of all the cattle.
どうして 今まで やらなかったんでしょうか。
どうして いままで やらなかったんでしょうか。
Why was that not done until now?
「国産の 食品は 安全」という 日本の 神話が 崩れました。
「こくさんの しょくひんは あんぜん」という にほんの しんわが くずれました。
This crushes the myth that Japanese food products are safe.
しばらくは 外国産の 方が 安全かも しれません。
しばらくは がいこくさんの ほうが あんぜんかも しれません。
For a while foreign food products are probably safer.
